What is the difference between framed, semi-frameless and frameless?
It is how much metal wraps the glass. Framed surrounds every edge, semi-frameless keeps framing on some edges only, and frameless uses heavy glass with clips and hinges. Cost, look and how easy it is to clean all follow from that.
Do you do second-floor bathrooms in older homes?
Routinely. Access and stair turns are part of what we look at during the measure, especially for a large fixed panel, so nothing is a surprise on install day.
